David Riley Burch, 79, passed Thursday, August 29, 2024, at LewisGale Medical Center in Salem. He was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy and a carpet installer for The Carpet Shop. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nevel and Bertie Burch; his wife, Marguerite Estelle Burch; and two sons, David Darnell and Mark Allen Burch. Survivors include his son, Chad Burch of Dublin; sister, Joyce Hurst of Newbern; and many other relatives and friends. There will be no services per his request.
