David fought the good fight for the last 5 years against ALS. He entered into Heaven at peace with his wife, Karin, at his side on Sunday, February 21, 2016. He was surrounded by his faithful and loving family, sons, Daniel and wife Mitzi, and Donald and wife Samantha; daughter, Sharon; grandson, Daniel Shawn and wife Jessica; granddaughter, Courtney and husband Peter; and great grandchildren, Amelia and Degan. Not present but there in spirit and love, brother, Les and wife Clair; sons, David William and Christopher; stepson, D. J. and wife Megan; daughters, Mirriam and husband Jim, and Cynthia; grandchildren, Skye Lynn, B Love, Corey, Nolan, Jake, Michael, Lisa, Mackenzie, Trey, Jason, Scarlett, Joseph and Tyler; and great grandchildren, Saylor, Jackson and Tyson. A celebration of Davids life will be held in Sparta, N. C. on Thursday, February 25, 2016.
