David Carlton Altizer, 56, of Dublin, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2012. He was a U. S. Navy veteran and an auto mechanic. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mamie Arlene Duncan Altizer. Survivors include his father Teddy C. Altizer of Radford; son David Matthew Altizer of Blacksburg; special companion of 25 years Lisa Lytton of Dublin; stepson Christopher Lee Lytton of Christiansburg; grandchildren Austin Lytton and Haley Lytton; brother and sister-in-law, Darryl W. and Lisa Altizer of Fairlawn; sister and brother-in-law Debra and Jerry Quesenberry of Fairlawn; niece and nephew, Amanda and Carlton Altizer. The family will receive friends Saturday, October 27, 2012 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. A memorial service will be at 7:00 pm with Rev. Jim Walker officiating and members of VFW Post #776 will conduct military last rites. Flowers will be appreciated or donations may be made to Lisa Lytton, 6060 Old Route #11, Dublin, Virginia 24084.
