Danny Lee Cook, 59, of Roanoke, peacefully went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifton Lee and Hope Morehead Cook, and his son, Danny "Lee" Cook II. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Cook of Roanoke; daughter and son-in-law, Jeverna Michelle and Raymond Jacob King of Dublin; stepsons, Jerry Paul Turner, Travis Gene Boerman and Matthew Bruce Westmoreland; uncles and aunts, Joe and JoAnn Bingham and C. D. and Robin Morehead; and many cousins. Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Pastor Ronald Blevins officiating. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home. The Cook family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
