Danny Mark Carter, 69, of Salem, passed away Thursday, August 31, 2023. He was a carpenter and plumber. Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Glee and Wilma Carter; brother, Robert Samuel Carter; sisters, Barbara Flo Melvin and Phyllis Jean Bessler. Survivors include his brother, Roy Carter, Sr.; niece, Faith Kobrehel (Michael); sister, Elizabeth Hamblin; nieces, Sandi (Brian) Cantel, Wilma (Warren) Melvin, Linda Shoemaker, Sherry Graham, and Kim Bessler; nephews, Ron (Stacey) Melvin, Andy (Sheila) Hamblin, Mike Hamblin, Jeff Carter, Rick (Kathleen) Bessler, Ray Bessler, Roy (Angel) Carter, Jr., and Shannon (Ammie Jo) Carter; many great nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
