Daniel Elwood Young, 51, of Blacksburg, passed away Thursday, February 19, 2015. He was a machinist a Federal Mogul. Danny is survived by his loving wife, Sarah M. Young of Blacksburg; son, Jake Young of Blacksburg; daughter and son-in-law, Meredith and Brandon Doss of Radford; grandson, Aidan Doss; aunts, Betty and Aaron Sutphin of Willis, Barbara and Sterling Quesenberry of Snowville, and Phyllis and Steve Martin and Carolyn and Bobby Joe Warner, all of Christiansburg; uncle, Odie Hollandsworth of Dublin; best friends, Troy Hill, Greg Webb and Spike; and many other extended family members and friends. Special thanks to all the ICU nurses and staff at Lewis-Gale Montgomery, along with Dr. Harry McCoy and his staff at New River Oncology. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 24, 2015 from 5 until 7 pm at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Memorial services will be private.
