On August 18, 2012 Cynthia Jean Duncan Belcher, 63, cashed in her "Golden Ticket" peacefully at home after her courageous battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her daughter Regina Gallimore, grandson Thomas Gallimore, and her parents Cleveland and June Duncan. Survivors include her husband Patrick A. Belcher of the home; son Andrew Todd Belcher and wife Mary of Pulaski; sisters, "The Twin of my Heart" Sandy Mabry of Radford, and Retia Meade and husband Tim of Floyd; brothers Lee Duncan and wife Geneva of Dublin, and Jimbo Duncan and wife Geraldine of Dublin; and many precious grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Gethsemane Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Gibson officiating. The family will receive friends prior to service beginning at 1:00 pm at the church. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the Mission Fund at Gethsemane Baptist Church, 2006 Preston Street, Radford, VA 24141.
