Cory Brent Baker, 43, of Fairlawn, passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at UVA Medical Center. He was a member of Freedom Fellowship and was employed with ATK Radford Arsenal. He was preceded in death by his father, Carlis B. Baker. Survivors include his wife, Melissa S. Baker; mother and stepfather, Carol and Don Eastwood of Wytheville; son, Austin Brent Baker and daughter, McKensie Nicole Baker, both of Fairlawn; brother and sister-in-law, Jesse and Tara Baker of Belspring; half brother and sister-in-law, Carlis and Lorie Baker of N.C.; sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Kyle Frets of Fairlawn; and many other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 p.m. on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services will begin at 3 p.m. with Rev. Jerry Collins officiating. Interment will follow in the Hufford Cemetery in Pulaski.
