Obituary

Connie Sue Ratcliffe McCraw, 69 of Radford passed away Thursday, November 28, 2013 at her home. She was a charter member of the Fairlawn Church of God, was retired from the Kroger Co having worked at the Christiansburg Store where she was Head Dairy Clerk for 35 years. She was born on April 28, 1944 and was preceded in death by her father, Clemmie Walker Ratcliffe, Jr. Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Terry McCraw; mother, Beulah Ratcliffe of Radford; sons, Mark McCraw of Radford and Jimmy Strickler; stepsons and wives, Ricky and Donna McCraw, and Terry S. and Kristi McCraw, all of Radford; step grandsons, Cory McCraw and Braxton McCraw; sisters and brother-in-law, Sylvia Ratcliffe of Radford, Alice Blazier of New Johnsonville, Tenn., and Barbara and Alan Parrish of Riner; nephews, Johnny Miles and Willy Flinchum; niece, Pam Flinchum; and sister-in-law, Virginia Edmonds. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 2, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Fairlawn Church of God with Rev. Terry Bowden and Marcus Harrison officiating. Interment will follow in West View Cemetery in Radford. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. Monday prior to the service at the Fairlawn Church of God. The family gratefully thanks Good Samaritan Hospice, with special appreciation for Susan Pratt, Ashley Bailey, Lydia Brown, Katy Hale and a host of others, for the tender love and care demonstrated during Connie's lengthy illness.
