Colen Eugene Wilson, 72 of Radford, passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2006. He was a former employee of both the Radford City Police Dept. and the Radford Sheriffs Dept., and a U. S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence William and Edith Grace Hollingsworth Wilson, and a brother, Stephen Wilson. Survivors include a sister and brother-in-law, Annalee and Andrew Szerokman of Radford; two nephews, Andrew William Szerokman and his wife Laura, and John Michael Szerokman; and a great-niece, Jaelyn Grace Szerokman. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 25, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Rev. Danny W. Collins officiating. Interment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin where members of V. F. W. Post # 776 will conduct military graveside rites. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions be made to the Fairlawn Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Friday at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
