Clay "Rusty" Freeman, 63, of Dublin, departed this life on January 16, 2025, at the Radford Health and Rehab Center after a lengthy illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mollie Johnson Stephens and Clay Freeman, Sr., and a sister, Barbara A. Johnston. He is survived by a son, Shawn Freeman; stepdaughter, Becky (Phillip) Duncan; and grandchildren, Kayleigh, Eli, Emma and Eva. Surviving also are sisters, Debbie (Eddie) Quesenberry and Lois (Tommy) Bales; brothers, Boyd Perdue, Joe (Dolores) Freeman, and David (Ellie) Stephens; and brother-in-law, Jerry Johnston.
