Clara Ann Akers Vaughn, 100, passed away Friday November 21, 2025. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Guy Howard and Edna Reed Akers; husband, Walter W. Vaughn; granddaughters, Jessica Vaughn and Michelle Shelton Fulcher; brothers, Bill, Bob, Shirl, Ray, and Richard Akers; and sisters, Claudine Poff, Lynn Hughes, Peggy Reed and Doretta Shorter.

Survivors include her sons, Michael Wayne and Christina Vaughn, Guy "Terry" and Chriss Vaughn, David Leon and Sharon Vaughn, and Danny Lee and Sherry Vaughn; grandchildren, Kimberly, Ariel, Stevie, Erika, Justin, Zach, and Theresa; 20 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Helen Akers; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 9:30am until 11am on Friday, November 28, 2025, at Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services will begin at 11am with Rev. Mark Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Vaughn Cemetery.
