Cindy Walker Edwards 59, of Dublin, passed away surrounded by her family at Roanoke Memorial Hospital on Dec. 22, 2016. She was born June 24, 1957 in Pulaski to Vastine, Sr. and Mary Walker of Pulaski. In 1975 she married Larry Edwards Sr. She babysit for many children over the years. She was an amazing daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and friend. She always made time for her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Joseph Edwards Sr. her grandparents, Aimee and Homer Walker, Ben and Elsie Kelley and John and Cor-mea Brookman. Survivors include her parents, Vastine and Mary Brookman Walker Sr., a son, Larry Joseph Edwards, Jr. and Chasity Marshall daughter-in-law, Traci Frye Edwards, daughters and son-in-laws, Rebecca Oliver and Michael Wright, Sara Beth Edwards and John Erikson, two brothers,Stephen and Vastine Walker, Jr., sister and brother-in-law, Alice "Missy" and Charles Burgess, grandchildren, Zachary, Wesley, Nicholas Oliver, Larry Edwards III and Dekota Edwards, Colton Erikson, Emilee Wright, one great grandchild, C.J. Wright, 7 nieces 4 nephews and several great nieces and nephews, and one very special friend, David Marshall. Memorial services will be held Friday, December 30, 2016 at the Peak Creek Mission of Prayer in Pulaski at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Dale Akers Officiating.
