Chris Derick Neal, 56, passed away at his home in Christiansburg on Thursday, May 13, 2021. He was preceded in death by his mother and step father, Rev. Great Weldon and Dr. William Weldon; his father, Charles Neal; twin sister, Gretchen Deneen Neal; and brother, David Wayne Neal. Left to cherish his memory are sisters, Carolyn Neal-Price of Reston, and Lolita Hanes Dawson of Christiansburg; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until 12 Noon on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services will begin at 12 Noon with Pastor Vivian Simmons officiating. Interment will follow at a later time in Rosewood Memorial Gardens in Rural Retreat.
