Charles Jackson Bishop, 39, of Hiwassee, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2009. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Buster Jackson Bishop, brother Eddie Ray Bishop, and his sister, Angela Bishop Huff. Survivors include his wife Shelia W. Bishop of Hiwassee; two children Adam Ryan Bishop and Mikayla Dawn Bishop; his mother Edith B. Bishop of Radford; maternal grandmother Dorothy Burton of Radford; and his sister and brother-in-law Ruth and Greg Byrd of Radford, step mother Patricia Bishop, nieces and nephews, Christopher and Morgan Poe, Ashley and Matthew Scaggs, Derrick Wetzel, Jr., Tyler and Jacob Eades. Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 25, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Rev. Frankie Graham and Rev. Eddie Dalton officiating. Interment will follow in the West View Cemetery in Radford. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The Bishop family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
