Charles Lee Anderson, 68, passed away Monday morning February 11, 2008 at his home in Fairlawn. He was a member of Fairlawn Presbyterian Church, the Tyler of VA May Lodge #38 AF & AM where he was a 39 year member, active Road Runner for Kazim Temple and was in the U. S. Army Reserves. Survivors include his wife Elizabeth Anderson; two daughters and sons-in-law, Tonya and David Congdon of Radford and Angela and Thomas Alderman of Pulaski; three stepsons John Henderson, Greg and Tammy Henderson and their daughter MaKenzie and Mark and Laura Henderson and their children Colton and Hayden, all of Blacksburg; sister and brother-in-law, Rita and Willard Jones of Dublin; brother and sister-in-law Michael and Susan Anderson of Radford; grandchildren Charles Lil Charlie Thornton, Paul Thornton, Ashley Niki-Jo Thornton, Brittany Talbert, Logan Congdon, Travis Foutz, Jessica Foutz, Codi Alderman, Adam Alderman, Rylie Alderman and Destiny Alderman: and great-grandchildren Scott Thornton, Tyler and Tanner Talbert and Justice Thornton; several nieces and nephews; and several beloved brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, and numerous friends. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at the Fairlawn Presbyterian Church with Rev. Terry Woodard officiating and VA May Lodge #38 AF & AM members will conduct Masonic funeral rites. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Fairlawn Presbyterian Youth and Music Program, 6900 Pulaski Ave., Radford, VA 24141. The Anderson family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
