Charles "Fuzzy" William Akers, 83, of Dublin, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2022. He was a truck driver for over 50 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Orville and Mabel Akers; daughter, Susie Quesenberry; brother, Dockie Akers; and sister, Carolyn Akers. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Kim and J. D. Owens; son, Eddie and Stephanie Akers; mother of his children, Carole Akers; grandchildren, Sunshine Quesenberry, Tre Owens (Meagan), Caitlyn Winemiller (Amy) and Koy Winemiller (Becca); 5 great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Sharon Akers; and many other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at the Childress Church of God. Memorial services will begin at 12 noon with Pastor Ronald Smith officiating.
