Celia McCoy Ferrell, 80 of Christiansburg, passed away Sunday, June 24, 2007. She was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Pauline McCoy and two brothers Harold and Marvin McCoy and a sister Sylvia Rosenbaum. Survivors include her two daughters and son-in-law, Donna and Bentley Thompson of Blacksburg and Dianne Harris Lindsay of Radford; five grandchildren, Rhonda Doyle, Tracy Stewart, Kelly Long, Amber Lindsay, and Joseph Sowers; six great-grandchildren, Todd Doyle Emily and Bethany Stewart, Devin Lindsay and Sabrina and Bethany Long; two brothers, Vernon McCoy of Radford and Roger McCoy of Belspring; four sisters, Anna Curry of Dayton, Ohio, Barbara Sowers of Radford, Shirley Randall of Indianapolis, Indiana and Gloria Highsmith of Jacksonville, Florida; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at Mullins Funeral Home with Rev. Darlene Marshall officiating. Interment will follow in Sunrise Burial Park in Radford. The family will receive friends from 11 to 1 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service at Mullins Funeral Home. The Ferrell family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
