Obituary

Carrie Cox Williams, 93, of Radford, passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at Heritage Hall Health Care in Blacksburg. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Viola Brown, two brothers, John M. Merk Brown and James L. Tootie Brown and was a 70 year member of Calvary Baptist Church in Radford. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Wilmer E. and Vivie Cox, Sr. of Radford; two grandsons and their spouses, Wilmer E. and Tina Cox and Stephen T. and Lee Cox, all of Radford; two great grandchildren, Andrew Stephen Cox and Natalie Logan Cox; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Willie Brown of Winber, PA; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and David Kirby of Ringold; two sisters-in-law, Eloise Brown of Radford, and Nancy Brown of Marion; ten nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 7, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Mountain View Cemetery in Pulaski County with Pastor O.D. Morgan and Pastor Brian Cockram officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home. The Williams family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
