Carolyn Stump Jackson, 62, of Max Meadows, passed away on Monday, May 22, 2017. Carolyn was born August 10, 1952, and worked at the Lynchburg Foundry in the Accounts Payable department for 36 years. She is preceded in death by her father, John Henry Stump. Carolyn is survived by her husband, Buddy Jackson; her mother, Helen Akers Stump; two step-children, Mark Jackson of Pahrump, Nev. and Wendy Dickey of Denver, Colo.; two brothers, Andrew and Danny Stump; a sister Kathy Gaskill; and multiple grandchildren. A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin at 11 a.m. with Rev. Ray Bolen officiating.
