Carolyn "Teddy" Ferguson Black Carper, 73, of Dublin, passed away Saturday, December 1, 2012. She was a member of New Dublin Presbyterian Church and a former teacher for Pulaski County Schools. Survivors include her children, Jody Hale Minnich and her husband Sherwood of Floyd, Billy Hale of Williamsburg, and Tim Hale of Fairlawn; sister, Jean Farmer of Blacksburg; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 11:00 am at the New Dublin Presbyterian Church with Rev. Andrew Taylor-Troutman officiating. The family will greet friends after the service in the fellowship hall. Flowers will be appreciated and accepted or contributions may be made to benefit the children of the church, New Dublin Presbyterian Church, 5331 New Dublin Church Road, Dublin, VA 24084.
