Carl David (Catfish) Reece, 54, of Radford, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2013. He was employed at Volvo Trucks for over 20 years. He attended the River of Life Church. He was preceded in death by his father Peyton T. Reece, his maternal and paternal grandparents. Survivors include his children, Lyndsay Nicole Reece and David Lucas "Luke" Reece both of Radford; his mother, Doris S. Reece, Radford; brother, Richard Eugene Reece and Joy, Salt Springs, Fla; two aunts, June Nester, Collierville, Tenn. And Mary Bob Spangler, Dublin; and nephew, Richard Dustin Reece, Savannah, Ga. Other survivors include the mother of his children, Tammy Bell, longtime friend, Karen Donahue; numerous cousins; special co-workers, Cody and Tena Arnold and Larry Yates; also left behind is his faithful dog, Boz. Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. Monday August 5, 2013, at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Pastor Don Shelor officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:30 p.m. until the time of the service at Mullins Funeral Home.
