Byrd Meredith Poore, 74, of Snowville, passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2014. She was retired from the Radford Army Ammunition Plant. She was preceded in death by her parents, Byron J. and Florence K. Meredith, husband, Bennie Poore, sons, Wesley Ernest Hall and Gregory Lang Hall, great-grandchild, Avery Rauen. Survivors include her son, Keith (Simin) Hall; daughters, Melissah Hall, Deborah H. (Pat) Pace, and Johnna Hall; grandchildren, Justin Pace, Rebecca Pace, Ashley (Chad) Thorson, Meghan Hall (Jared Rauen), and Bryan Hall,; great-grandchildren, Aiden, Tyler and Olivia Sikes , and Breanna and Knox Rauen,; siblings, Janet (Conley) Dishon, Barney (Charlotte) Meredith, Ernest (Nydia) Meredith and Gay Meredith (Bob Steffen); dear friends, Thelma and James Dishner; and large extended family. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 31, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Rev. Dennis Martin officiating. Interment will follow in the Hall Family Cemetery in Snowville. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1:00 pm.
