Brian Arthur Pelkey, 49, passed away Sunday, March 18, 2018 at his home in Radford. He was employed at Rhino Sports and Entertainment. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Dorothy Pelkey; wife, Tracy Ratcliffe Pelkey; and biological parents, Dorothy Simpkins and Arthur Luckado. Survivors include his soulmate, Lynn Wright of Radford; daughters, Taylor Ratcliffe of Christiansburg and Alexis Ratcliffe of Roanoke; brothers, Kevin Pelkey of Christiansburg and Keith Simpkins of Euclid, Ohio; sister and brother-in-law, April and Colby Byrd of Radford; brother and sister-in-law, Allen and Katie Pelkey of Christiansburg; nephew, Greg Pelkey of Pilot; niece, Sara Rogers of Christiansburg; and many other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 23, 2018 at the Snowville Baptist Church Cemetery (Simpkins Cemetery) with Pastor Mark Kilbourne officiating.
