Brenda Sue McDaniel Croy, 62, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2016 at her home in Radford. She was a retired nurse having been with Carilion for many years. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles McDaniel and sister, Clydia McDaniel. Survivors include her mother, Ruby Gladis Phillips McDaniel; daughter and friend, Angela Croy and Richard McClung of Radford; son and daughter-in-law, Allen and Natosha Croy of Christiansburg; grandchildren, Adrienna and Tristan Croy; great grandchild, Anecia Prim; sisters, Connie Scott and Jean Smith; brother, Junior McDaniel; and she was known as a second mom to, Chasity Sowder, Melissa and Jimmy Sheets, Teresa Taylor, Kelly Parks, and known to their children as Nanny Sue. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Thursday, September 15 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. with Rev. James Walker officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens.
