Bobby L Grubb, 78, of Snowville, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at Cozy Home Haven in Radford. He was a member of Snowville Baptist Church, a U. S. Army veteran, and retired from Lynchburg Foundry with 34 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Lura Grubb, his brother, Walter Delbert Grubb, and great-grandson, Lucas Adam Woodyard. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Dorothy Judy Grubb of Snowville; daughters and sons-in-law, Treasa and Cecil Rigney of Pulaski, Tammy and Wayne Lytton of Pulaski, Bobbie and Matthew Wright of Gatesville, Texas, and Amy and Justin Price of Radford; grandchildren, Amanda Woodyard, Cecil and Lauren Rigney, Audi Hamblin, Josh and Sarah Hamblin, Patricia Wright, Kathryn Price and Lauren Price; great-grandchildren, Emily Breaux, Eli Woodyard, Koltin Rigney, Bentley Hawks and Fayth Hamblin; sisters and brothers-in-law, Treva Bugg, Geneva and J.C. Phillips, Jearline Simpkins, Helen Flinchum, and Juanita and Henry Hall; sister-in-law, Cleo Grubb; sister-in-law and husband, Joan and Tommy Aliff; feline companion, Sassy; and many other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank Cozy Home Haven, Carilion Hospice and his loving caregiver, Allie Borton. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 31, 2015 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Rev. Neil Wood officiating. Interment will follow in the Prescott-Grubb Cemetery (behind Snowville Baptist Church) in Snowville. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home. The Grubb family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
