Billy Lynn Smith, 67, passed away Thursday, March 2, 2006 at his home in Dublin. He was a member of the Fairlawn Church of God. He was preceded in death by his parents, Grant, Sr. and Mary Garrett Smith, and three sisters and three brothers. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Paula Smith; two daughters and son-in-law, Laura and Dean McCoy, and Kerie Smith, all of Dublin; fianc, Melissa Atkins of Dublin; three brothers, Bob Smith of Max Meadows, Grant Smith, Jr. of Taneytown, MD, and David Smith of Gaithersburg, MD; and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 4, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Shepherd officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunrise Burial Park in Radford. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
