Billy Gene (Button) Moore, 80, of Radford, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2013. He was a U. S. Army veteran and retired from the RAAP. He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Eugenia Moore, daughters, Patricia Diane Moore and Rebecca Jean Moore, and two brothers and four sisters. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Barbara Fortune Moore of Radford; grandsons, Randall Morris of Radford and Michael Keene and his wife Kindra of Purceville; great grandchildren, Julian, Aila, Isaac and Abel Keene; sister, Pauline Duncan of Radford; brother, Pete Moore of Radford; and special friend, Red Beans. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at 11:00 am at the West Radford Church of God with Rev. James Walker and Rev. Hershel Daniels officiating. Interment will follow in the West View Cemetery in Radford. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the church.
