Betty Jo Hodges, 83, passed away Monday, May 21, 2018 at her home in Floyd. She was a former horse trainer and taught horseback riding. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Lelia Thomas. Survivors include her husband, Randy Hodges; brothers-in-law, Richard (Fran) Hodges and Joe (Judy) Hodges; stepdaughter, Katherine Dillon; close friends, Aaron Vale and Joan Johnson; and dear friend and caregiver, Jackie Farley and her family. A funeral gathering will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Calvary Baptist Church, 1400 Floyd Highway North, Floyd, VA 24091.
