Betty Brewer Dickerson, 74, of Christiansburg, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, April 16, 2019. She was a member of Belview United Methodist Church and retired from Belview Elementary School where she worked in the cafeteria for over 30 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, W. Peyton and Roxie Bayse Brewer; and her brother, William Peyton Brewer, Jr. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Billy L. Dickerson of Christiansburg; sons and daughters-in-law, Dwayne and Anne Dickerson and Mike and Debra Dickerson, all of Radford; daughter, Shelby Quesenberry of Roanoke; grandchildren, Will, Peyton and Joseph; brother and sisters-in-law, Tom and Sandra Brewer of Roanoke, Jennie Brewer of Pulaski, and Peggy and Donnie Raines of Radford; brother-in-law and his wife, Buddy and Vivian Dickerson of Radford; and numerous other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 1 until 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Memorial services will begin at 3 p.m. with Pastors Larry Mann and Becky Wheeler officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
