Betty Carden Bill, of Dade City, FL, formerly of Radford, passed away on May 13th at her home. A native of Radford, Betty was born on February 23, 1923. She was a graduate of Radford College and a 24 year resident of Travelers Rest Dade City, FL. She spent her life caring for her family. Betty and her husband, Horace Bill, lived in Syracuse, NY for a number of years as well as Brunswick, GA, Baton Rouge, LA and Atlanta, GA before retiring to their summer home in Radford and their winter home in The Village, Travelers Rest, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Mabel Carden. Betty will be missed every day by her husband Horace Bill, Jr. and her two sons, Horace Bill III along with his wife Karen and their 5 children of Moorpark, CA and David Wade Bill his wife Leenette and their 2 children of Clinton, LA. A memorial graveside service will be held Monday, June 9, 2014 at 11:00 am at West View Cemetery in Radford with Rev. Gina Rhea officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to HPH Hospice, 37445 Clinton Ave., Dade City, FL 33525. The Bill family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
