Bessie Frances Simms, 93, passed away Monday, October 20, 2008 at her home in Radford. She was a member of the Radford Worship Center and retired from the Christiansburg Garment Co. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Steven Simms. Survivors include her son Edward S. Simms, Jr. of Radford; and a half-sister Sylvia Coe of Pulaski. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 23, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Rev. Glennard Quesenberry officiating. Interment will follow in the West View Cemetery in Radford. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The Simms family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
