Bertha Buckner Crane, 90, of Dublin, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, March 19, 2013. She was the oldest lifetime member of Cornersview PH Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Eugene Crane, son, Jerry L. Crane, and Daughter, Bonnie Jean Duncan. Survivors include daughters and son-in-law, Linda M. and Billy Duncan of Radford and Patricia Woodyard of Pulaski; daughter-in-law, Linda L. Crane; son-in-law, Dan Woodyard; brother and sister-in-law, Schaffer and Helena Buckner of Christiansburg; sisters, Kathleen Dishon of Snowville and Claudine Tolliver of Bel Air, MD; 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 4 step great grandchildren, and 2 step great great grandchildren; and special friends, Elsie Dudley and Claire Booth. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 22, 2013 at 2:00pm at the Dublin Christian Church with Minister Terry Hodge officiating. Interment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12 Noon until 2:00 pm at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Dublin Christian Church, PO Box 1330, Dublin, VA 24084. She will be greatly missed by all.
