Bernard Rudolph "Rudy" Duncan, 87, of Riner, passed away Friday, October 14, 2022. He was a member of Fairlawn Baptist Church and retired supervisor with Adams Construction Company. Rudy was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lola Duncan; wife, Sherry Duncan; and 6 brothers. Survivors include his daughter, Dana Duncan (Theresa) of Radford; son, David Duncan of Albuquerque, N. M.; sister, Elizabeth Duncan Sowers of Riner; sisters-in-law, Barbara Duncan, Connie Lawson and Diane Lawson; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Curtis and Sandra Lawson; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank Commonwealth Assisted Living Radford, New River Valley Medical Center, and MediHome Hospice for all the loving care they gave Rudy. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin with Rev. Frank Peters officiating.
