Benny Welch Mann, 74, of Radford, passed away Thursday, October 28, 2010. He was a member of Parrott United Methodist Church and an Electrician with APCO with over 40 years service. He was preceded in death by his parents Welch Theodore and Anna Lee Ballard Mann, and a sister Betty Jo Allen. Survivors include his wife Shirley McCoy Mann of Radford; four children and their spouses Danny Mann of Dublin, Dale and Lindy Mann of Newbern, Diane Martin of Dublin, and Bryan and Sarah Mann of Radford; special grandson Ben Mann; seven grandchildren Chastity, Kevin, Justin, Brittney, Cole, Dalton and Ben; six great-grandchildren Holly, Corey, Joely, Ryan, Presley and Tayla; brother Bobby Mann of Lindside, WVa; and sister Bethel Meadows of Lindside, WVa. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 30, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Pastor Teresa Tolbert and Rev. Gary Stike officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunrise Burial Park in Radford. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
