Barbara Annabelle Farmer Bain, 72, of Radford, passed away Sunday, December 28, 2008. She was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church. Annabelle was preceded in death in October by her beloved husband of 53 years, Robert Clayton Bain. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Allen G. and Tammy Bain of Dublin; a daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Barry Armentrout of Natural Bridge; a brother and sister-in-law, Andy and Shelby Farmer of Radford; a sister, Louise McCoy of Alexandria; two brothers-in-law, Larry Bain and his wife Joyce, and Michael Bain, all of Radford; a sister-in-law, Wanda Phillips and her husband Gerald of Radford; and several nieces, nephews and special friends including a very special friend and neighbor Charlotte E.B. Beasley. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 1, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Gethsemane Baptist Church in Radford with Rev. Glennard Quesenberry and Pastor Jerry Gibson officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunrise Burial Park in Radford. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Radford Fairlawn Daily Bread, 503 Norwood Street, Radford, VA 24141 or to your favorite charity.
