Barbara Johnston Alderman, 80, of Radford, passed away Friday, February 12, 2021. She was a member at Central United Methodist Church and was a nurse for over 52 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bobby" Alderman; sons, Robert Cameron Alderman and Craig Allen Alderman; and daughter, Cynthia Dawn Alderman. Survivors include her daughter, Tina Catron (Timothy Dale) of Wytheville; daughter-in-law, Angie Roberts (Cam Alderman) of McCoy; granddaughter, Caysey Laken Catron of Wytheville; grandchildren, Wesley Elbert Roberts and Ashley Roberts (Brandon Malcom) of McCoy; step granddaughter, Sarah Elizabeth Catron (Tyler Buchanan) of Rural Retreat; and many other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 20, 2021at the Central United Methodist Church with Pastor Ronnie Duncan and Pastor Don Smith officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Dublin.
