Artis Geneva Snead Powers, 84, of Dublin, passed away Sunday, August 29, 2010 at Pulaski Health & Rehab. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Walter Powers, a beloved daughter, Patricia Yvonne Powers and her parents, Thomas and Polly Helton Snead. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Benjamin and Teresa Powers of Christiansburg; three daughters and son-in-law, Linda and Gary Callahan of Dublin, and Nancy Jones and Nora Powers, both of Radford; 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff of Pulaski Health and Rehab for all their care. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Rev. Michael Blouse and Rev. John Murphy officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
