Anthony "Tony" Price Armbrister, 50, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at his home in Dublin. He was born July 8, 1962 in Radford and graduated from Northwest High School in 1980. Tony then joined the U. S. Army and proudly served for eight years at Fort Campbell, Cairo, Egypt and U. S. Army Garrison-Hawaii. Tony was a wonderful, kind and loving son, brother and friend and will be deeply missed. He always had a smile on his face and would help anyone he could. Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Tamara S. and William Byrd of Clarksville, TN; father, Marvin K. Armbrister of Pulaski; his son and daughter-in-law, Mat and Jessica Armbrister and grandchildren, Kaylynn, Jaxson and Skylar of Augusta, GA; his longtime partner, Sherry Huff ; brother and sister-in-law, Todd and Tracy Foster of Charlottesville; and sisters and brother-in-law, Kathy and William Armistead-Olen of Brentwood, TN, Kim Wilburn of Clarksville, TN, and Tracy and Brad Cooper of Clarksville, TN; and fourteen nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Friday, March 22, 2013 at 10:00 am at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin where he will receive full military honors. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. The Armbrister family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
