Annie Albert Solomon, 90, a lifelong resident of Parrott, passed away at her home on Thursday, January 17, 2013. She was a retired employee of Radford Army Ammunition Plant. She was preceded in death by her husband Romey (Preacher) Solomon, parents, James and Claudia Albert, brothers, Paris, Vester and Garland Albert, sisters, Mary Albert, Margaret Nester and Goldie Nester, and grandson, Bruce Richards. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Pat and Don Smith of Dublin, Goldie and James Richards of Baytown, TX, and Rebecca and Paul Eicher of Dublin; son, Ronald Solomon of Parrott; six grandchildren Donna Miller, David Smith, Jimmy Richards, Jamie King, Mary Anne King Jennelle and Samantha Solomon; nine great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thanks to her caregivers, Molly Nester, Macie Mills, Tammy Andrews, Teresa Cromer, Debbie Smith and Tonya O'Brian, and others that made it possible for her to remain at home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Parrott United Methodist Church with Rev. Teresa Tolbert officiating. Interment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
