Anne Elizabeth Vest, 65, of Radford, passed away Monday, June 30, 2014. She was a property manager with Poff Construction. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harless T. and Pearl Hall Vest and her beloved husband and companion, Phil Criner of Virginia. Survivors include her daughter and partner, Anita Graves Orren and Crystal Branson of Greensboro, NC; son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Peggy Bennett of Christiansburg; sisters, Ellen Nunley, Velma Gibson and Linda Bower, all of Christiansburg; grandchildren, Ryan Orren, Bradley and Catherine Orren, Alex Adams, Darian Bennett , Emily Harrison, and Tyler Harrison; great-grandchildren, Dylan and Loucylle Orren; a special granddaughter, Ashley Orren and her beloved pet, Meika. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, July 5, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Rev. Dallas F. Bennett, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the American Lung Association National Office, 55 W. Wacker Drive, Suite 1150, Chicago, IL 60601. The family wishes to thank Good Samaritan Hospice for the kind and compassionate care given to Ms. Vest during her illness.
