Anna Jean Wiley Thompson, 84, passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at English Meadows Assisted Living in Christiansburg. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton W. "Tommy" Thompson; parents, Buron and Florence Wiley; and special cousin, Frances Shinault. Survivors include her loving cousins Vicki (Shinault) and Larry Wilson of Christiansburg, Donalee Hurst, Kathy and Butch Thorn of Mullens, W.Va., Edwin Wiley of Portland, Ore., and Ruth Shupe of Grottoes. Special thanks to English Meadows Assisted Living and Southern Care Hospice for their unwavering love, support and care. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 7, 2016 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Pastor Brian Cockram officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
