Anna M. Quesenberry of Snowville, VA passed into her eternal life Saturday, March 7, 2015 after a battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was born on May 25, 1934 in Floyd, VA to the late Reece Sr. and Cynthia (Flinchum) McPeak. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Emma Quesenberry, and three brothers, James McPeak, Tommy McPeak and Edsel McPeak. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Quinton Quesenberry; two daughters, Donna Keith and husband Jerry of Dublin and LeeAnn Smith of Christiansburg; son Michael R. Quesenberry of Louisville, KY; grandchildren, Venesha Keith of Dublin, Jerry M. and Sherry Keith of Snowville, Christine Smith of Radford, Desiree Smith of Christiansburg, Sylena Smith of Dublin, Jamey and Rebecca Smith of Fairlawn, and Stephen Quesenberry of Seattle, Washington; six great grandsons; one great granddaughter; three brothers and their wives, David and Judy McPeak, Reece Jr. and Geneva McPeak, and Lee and Irene McPeak. Anna was a dedicated employee, having retired from Burlington Mills (NRI) after 26 years of service. Following her retirement, she was employed in Wade's bakery in Dublin and worked as a greeter in Fairlawn Wal-Mart's lawn and garden department. Her greatest endeavor, however, was to bestow love unto others in a Christ like fashion. She attended Fairlawn Church of God regularly until her illness prohibited her from doing so. She touched the lives of many in her eighty years on this earth and left it a more wholesome place than it was before. The family would like to extend special thanks to her caregivers, Carilion Hospice, Mary A. Hall of Pulaski and her grandson and his wife, Jerry M. and Sherry Keith of the home in Snowville. Her life will be celebrated at 2 pm, Tuesday, March 10th, 2015 at the Mullins Funeral Home, Radford, with Rev. Marcus Harrison officiating. Visitation will begin at 12:00 pm prior to the service. Interment will follow at Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association through Anna's memorial fund, alz.org, P.O. Box 96011 Washington, DC 20090 (1-800-272-3900). The Quesenberry family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
