Alta Joyce McCoy, 76, passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at her home in Dublin. She was a U. S. Army veteran and was preceded in death by her husband, Max Myer McCoy. Survivors include her son, Scott McCoy of Dublin; daughters Lois Kanode of Pulaski, Charlene Snyder of South Point, OH, Dawn Oliver of Pulaski, Teresa Fredrick of Fountain Hills, AZ, Maureen Deter of Rifle, CO, and Kathleen Walters of Avondale, AZ; sisters, Betty and Carol Ann; 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, January 4, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Proclamation PCA Church, 975 Memorial Drive, Pulaski, VA.
