Allen Lee Lawson, 92, of Christiansburg, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2024, at Radford Health & Rehab. He was retired from Lynchburg Foundry and a member of First Church of God Christiansburg. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas G. and Alice Sarah Lawson; wives, Lucy and Edna Lawson; son, Dennis Lawson; and 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Survivors include daughter, Carolyn Furrow (Roscoe) of Christiansburg and Phyllis Hudson of Dublin; daughter-in-law, Rose Lawson of Radford; numerous grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. The family will also receive friends from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at First Church of God in Christiansburg. Funeral services will begin at 12 p.m. with Rev. Terry Hodge officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery in Christiansburg.
