Alfreda Overstreet Hamblin, 73 of Dublin, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2008. She was preceded in death by her parents Jesse M. and Lura Tickle Overstreet and two brothers Jesse R. and Donald Leon Overstreet. Survivors include her husband Bobby Hamblin; son and daughter-in-law Vernon and Carolyn Hamblin of Dublin; adopted son Mike Graves of Chesterfield County; granddaughter and fianc Jennifer Grace Hamblin and John Crowder of Kernersville, NC; grandson Vernon Kyle Hamblin of Greensboro, NC; two sisters and brothers-in-law Peggy and Pete Woodrum of Radford and Patsy and Victor Graves of Chesterfield County; brother Charles M. Overstreet of Parrott; sister-in-law Bonnie Overstreet of Parrott. Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 13, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Parrott Church of God with Rev. Eddie Dalton officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Parrott Church of God Youth Fund, PO Box 97, Parrott, VA 24132. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday at the church. The Hamblin family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
