Sgt. Alfred Wayne Haynes, of Concord, N.C., was relieved of duty on Sunday, June 24th while kayaking down the New River in Virginia with his brother. Al will always be known as one who lived his life on his own terms and went to be with the Lord doing something he loved. With an unbreakable will, hard head, open heart and most of all an immeasurable love for his family and friends. Even though Al was stricken with Parkinsons disease, his "T-Street" and tiki bar family never let him slow down. You never heard him say I cant do it or I wont help you.
From his brothers, Terry, Howard, Earl, Jamie and Roy, to his sons, Ethan, Andrew and Austin, and his loyal loving dog Roxy, he will be dearly missed. He also leaves behind his soulmate and wife of 25 years, Kim, aka "the glue."

We love you!
