Aaron David Kluth, 47, of Radford, VA died on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at his home in Radford, VA. Aaron was born in Austin, TX on October 1, 1965. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Overbeke Kluth. Aaron graduated from Austin High School, Austin, TX in 1983. Aaron's outgoing personality and interest in politics led him to run for the Austin City Council in 1985. Later, he moved to Baltimore, MD where he received his bachelor's degree in Social Work from Towson University and master's degree in Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Aaron was a people person and loved to have fun, engaging conversations with everyone he met. Aaron is survived by his mother, Annette Calhoun; sister, Rachael Beach; brother-in-law, Steven Beach; nephew, Zachary Beach; niece, Cypress Beach; uncle, Frederick John Kluth; aunt, Martha Kluth; cousin, Thomas Kluth; and cousin, Victoria Pope; as well as numerous family members and wonderful friends. His family will conduct a memorial service at a later date. The family requests that donations be sent, in memory of Aaron David Kluth, to the Radford Humane Society or the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). The Kluth family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford, Virginia.
