Aaron Alexander Adkins, 45, of Ripplemead, passed away Monday, January 6, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmey and Brenda Gay Morgan Adkins, and son, James Douglas "Dougie" Ryan, Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Celleste Adkins; children, Blake Adkins (Becca), Haley Adkins (Adam Jones), Tyler Adkins (Jami Keene), Maddi Hannah, Abby Adkins, Madison Bailey, and Dominick Snowdy; grandchildren, Octavia, Jimmey, Waylon, Adalynn, Dylan, James III, and Braxton; sisters, Alea Adkins Bramblett (Michael) and Kim Cox (Brandon); brother, J. C. Adkins (Susan); sister-in-law, Pamela Stapleton; stepmom, Debra Adkins; nieces, Pharaoh and Briana Negm, Savannah Adkins and Curtis Odum, Callie Mathues (D.J.), and Chloe Adkins; nephew, Jayden Adkins; and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 p.m. Friday, January 17, 2025, at the Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford. Funeral services will begin at 6 p.m. Interment will be at 12 Noon on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at in the Adkins Family Cemetery, 25020 Strawberry Fields Road, Abingdon, Va. A celebration of life will follow in the family farmhouse.
