Biography

Amber Dawn Mooney, 28, of Claytor Lake, passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2012. She was preceded in death by her mother Vickie Mooney and Father Tony Mooney. Survivors include her children Kieera Mooney of Roanoke and Malakai Mooney of Fort Chiswell; borther Billy Joe McCrosky; sisters and brothers-in-law Ashley Mooney (Mirsad Lugonjic) and Heather Thomas (Ronnie Thomas); nephew Trey Wyatt; grandmothers June Howell, Susie Peters and Pooney Martin; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will greet friends Saturday, August 11, 2012 from 4:00 pm until the time of the service at 6:00 pm, with the Rev. J.T. Horton officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to help with funeral costs to Susie Peters, 4347 Fox Place, Dublin, VA 24084. The Mooney family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
